This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you engage with our website, mobile services, and other online platforms (collectively, “Services”). We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and payment information, and otherwise when you donate, sign up for communications, register for events, or interact with us directly through our Services. However, you can remain anonymous when calling our hotline. To enroll in and receive services, Newhouse must collect your name and contact information, along with other demographic data required by federal/state/local funders. Information that includes your identity, however, is never shared with funders. Only aggregated and anonymous data is shared with funders.

You are also welcome to request that we delete your personal information or data at any time by contacting us at info@newhousekc.org.   

Donation and Merchandise Refund Policy 

Newhouse collects donations online and sells our branded merchandise to support survivors. If there is an error with a donation or purchase, please contact info@newhousekc.org within one week so that we may help you address it.  

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received such information, we will delete it from our records. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact info@newhousekc.org. We encourage parents, caregivers, and legal guardians to monitor children’s internet usage.    

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the updated version on our website and revise the “last updated” date.
