NEWHOUSE IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING SAFE SHELTER TO SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

We ask our visitors to abide by the following procedures and precautions to help us maintain safety and security for our residents and staff.

KEEP OUR ADDRESS CONFIDENTIAL.

Please take any necessary precautions and do not share this information with anyone.

LET US KNOW YOU’RE HERE.

When you arrive at the gate, push the intercom button and speak loudly into the speaker to an on-duty staff advocate.

Please state your:

1. reason for visit. What will you be doing on-site?

2. point of contact. With whom have you been coordinating your visit?

3. appointment time. What time is your contact expecting you?

PULL FORWARD + PAUSE.

When you enter through the gate, please pull forward and pause to allow the gate to close behind you. If anyone else enters through the gate behind you before the gate closes, please report this to your point of contact immediately. After pulling through the gate and pausing, please continue going straight and park in the slanted parking spots. You will walk up those steps to the Administrative Office and ring the buzzer at the door.

Thank you for prioritizing the safety of survivors and staff!
